Help towards family going through a tragic time

Hi, my name is Dannii and I am wanting to raise some money to help my sister Sam’s husband Joel and her 2 year old daughter Emelia. On Saturday 5th April my sister Sam was taken into hospital by ambulance and admitted. She had lost her ability to speak and swallow and lost the function of most of her muscles. The doctors and nurses really weren’t sure what was wrong and weren’t sure how to help her. Unfortunately my sister ended up in a comatose state which has left her in the ICU. The next day they transferred her to York Hospital for a MRI scan due to intubation. My sister has remained there since. They believe my sister has something called Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). The recovery from this is extremely long.

I am trying to raise some money so that her husband Joel can carry on paying their mortgage and travel easier as we live in Scarborough and pay for anything that their daughter Emelia may need. Sam was a 30 year old healthy mum who worked full time and always loved helping others where she could and now I want to be able to help her and her little family during this time.
