Tory is a single mother in Durham who has spent her life giving to others. She works tirelessly supporting seniors in need and provides full-time care for her child with special needs. Her heart for service and compassion shines through everything she does. But now Tory is the one in crisis.

A devastating flood in Durham destroyed much of what she and her three children owned on the first floor of their home. To make matters worse, her car — a lifeline for her family — was totaled in the storm. Without transportation, Tory is struggling to get to work, get her oldest child to trade school classes in Raleigh, and manage everyday needs for her family.

Tory has always shown up for others. Now she needs a village to show up for her. We’re raising funds to help Tory replace her car and begin rebuilding the stability her family desperately needs. Every dollar will go directly toward getting her back on her feet — and back to doing what she does best: caring for those around her.
