Help Toree and Jacob Start Their Family
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
After more than a decade of hope, heartbreak, and healing, we are finally stepping forward again on our journey to become parents—and we need your help.
We’ve been battling infertility for over 10 years. We’ve tried treatments. We’ve experienced two painful miscarriages. We’ve had to take breaks to grieve, to regain strength, and to find peace after feeling so defeated. But through it all, the dream of holding our child has never left our hearts.
Recently, we moved to a location where we have access to an amazing fertility specialist—a chance we truly believe could lead us to the family we’ve longed for. This feels like our time. We’re hopeful. Optimistic. Ready.
While the insurance we receive through the Army helps in some ways, it unfortunately does not cover all of the procedures and medications we need to make this possible. Fertility treatments are incredibly expensive—especially the parts that aren’t covered by insurance, including the actual procedure itself and several critical medications.
We’re asking for your support—whether it’s through donations, sharing our story, or simply keeping us in your prayers. Every bit of help gets us one step closer to the family we’ve dreamed of.
I’ve spent much of my life working with and caring for children in many different roles. I have so much love to give, and I know deep in my soul that I was meant to be a mother. My husband Jacob is one of the kindest, most loving people I know—he would make an incredible father. Watching him quietly carry the same heartbreak all these years has been one of the hardest parts of this journey. We’ve supported each other through so much, and we are stronger than ever.
When I lost my dad last year, it added another layer of grief—knowing our future child would never get to meet him broke my heart. But it also reminded me how precious time is. I don’t want our future child to miss out on knowing anyone else we love. This has only deepened our urgency and commitment to starting our family now.
We believe with all our hearts that we are ready—and that we have so much to offer a child because of the life, love, and growth we’ve built together.
If we are blessed with extra funds beyond what is needed for treatments and preparing for the baby, we plan to donate the remainder to organizations supporting other military families facing infertility, so that we can help others who are also struggling silently.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thank you for your compassion. And thank you for standing with us as we take this leap of faith.
With love and gratitude,
Toree & Jacob
