Help Tonya Hodson beat cancer

Hello. My name is Ezra, and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my mother-in-law, Tonya Hodson. Tonya is the wife of Philip Hodson (pastor of East Christian Church, Markleville, Indiana), and the mother of six precious children. After almost 3 years of praising God for every clear scan since her initial diagnosis and treatment for Stage 2 breast cancer in February 2020. Following a PET Scan just before this past Christmas, Tonya was informed that her cancer has now reappeared and is active in the vertebrae of her lower spine – upgrading her earlier diagnosis to Stage 4 Breast Cancer with bone metastases. This news came as a heavy shock to the Hodson family, but they are seeking God in prayer for healing and wisdom while trusting Him to guide and direct their path. As they look ahead in hope, the Hodsons will once again be facing not only the uncertainty of Tonya’s health, treatments, doctor visits, and scans, but also a heavy burden of medical expenses to cover her treatment costs.

Our goal of $20,000 will assist in covering some of Tonya’s immediate treatment expenses:

• 13 days of in-patient treatment at Oasis of Hope Cancer Hospital, the costs of prescribed medications and supplements for at-home adjuvant cancer therapy, as well as air travel to and from Oasis of Hope Cancer Hospital. This course of treatment will cost approximately $30,000.00 and will be entirely paid out-of-pocket.
