On Sunday, September 7th, my sister Tonya was in a serious car accident with her two children, Bryar and Jake. We are so thankful that everyone made it out alive, but the impact left lasting injuries and challenges for their family.

Tonya’s car was completely totaled. Bryar and Jake are recovering from scattered bruising, while Tonya suffered a broken ankle, a rotator cuff injury, painful abrasions from her seat belt, and additional bruising. She is facing a long road of healing ahead, which means she will be unable to work for some time.

With Tonya out of work, her husband Curt is the only one bringing in income. On top of medical bills, they now need to replace their vehicle and cover daily living expenses. This sudden accident has put a huge financial strain on their family.
