Help Tony kick cancer in the butt!
Donation protected
In July, 2021, after a trip to the ER, Tony discovered he had testicular cancer. He was quickly scheduled for next day surgery to remove the tumor. The surgery went well and he recovered nicely. The next couple of months were spent doing blood work, X-rays, scans, and so forth. Then, in October the Cash’s headed down to the U of M. Per a text from Nicole: “So an update on Tony. We met with a pediatric oncologist at the U of M today. She made us feel so much better about the care that Tony needs. Her and a radiologist from the U actually changed his staging from Stage 1 to Stage 2 which does require chemo. We will do the chemo at the U over a 9+ week period. He will have to stay in the hospital for 5 days at a time while the chemo is given.”
This will require Nicole to stay in the cities with Tony during much of the treatment time. This could mean lots of additional costs of hotels, meals, gas, etc., that will not be covered by insurance. Also, they will be facing copays and out of pocket expenses. I know Fred and Nicole would NEVER ask for help like this, so I am doing it on their behalf!
Please give what you can. More importantly, send tons of prayers and hugs to the Cash family!
