Dear Friends and Family,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our brother Tom and his two children.

On Saturday, July 19th, after enjoying a fun day at the beach, they were involved in a devastating head-on collision caused by another driver. All three were transported to Backus Hospital and later transferred—Tom to Hartford Hospital and his youngest to Connecticut Children’s Hospital—for more intensive care.

Tom underwent his first surgery early Sunday morning and is facing another surgery later this week. He has suffered a broken sternum, multiple spinal injuries (still being evaluated), and a crushed right leg and ankle. For privacy reasons, we are keeping the children’s injuries private, but we’re grateful to share that they will make a full recovery and heal in the coming weeks.

Tom’s recovery will be long and uncertain, and he will be out of work for the foreseeable future. We’re hoping to raise funds to help cover medical bills, household expenses, therapies, and any other needs that may arise as he and the kids heal and adjust.

Your love, prayers, and support mean the world to us during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for rallying around Tom and his children.
