Help Tom's Family Continue His Legacy

I am asking for people to show up for this sweet family in their time of grief as they have shown up for countless people during their hardest life moments. the legacy of Tom and his family is far reaching as they serve the homeless community daily and walk alongside the hurting. No one is more deserving of our support and love than this sweet woman and her family.

After celebrating a beautiful Easter weekend with his family, friends, and loved ones, Tom suddenly and unexpectedly went to be with his Lord and Savior in the morning hours the day after Easter. We have no doubt that Tom got to stand face to face with his Risen King and got to hear those words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Tom has left behind a beautiful wife and best friend (Jennifer) and 4 adoring children (Devon, Riese, Lydia, and Lukas).

Tom's "big" presence will be missed greatly in his home and in his community. He daily went to serve at his family's ministry in downtown Columbus, OH called Jordan's Crossing (jordanscrossingcolumbus.org).

Tom embodied what it was like to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving the homeless, the addicted, the struggling, and the hurting. His presence there made you feel safe, loved, and cared about. Everyone who comes through those doors knows who Tom is, and you would find him outside talking to those who needed extra time or direction. He was constantly working on projects to keep the building functioning and took young men under his wings to teach and mentor. This family gives all of their time, money, and resources to help those in need. They have provided hundreds of thousands of meals to the hungry, clothes for the needy, resources to the addicted, and have numerous successful rehabilitation stories, but overall this family embodies Isaiah 58:7:

Share your food with the hungry,

and give shelter to the homeless.

Give clothes to those who need them,

and do not hide from relatives who need your help.

I am asking for people to show up for this sweet family in their time of grief as they have shown up for countless people during their hardest life moments.

Jennifer will now be tasked with the financial burden of saving for 3 college funds, resources for her kids' schooling and therapies, and the unexpected costs of home upkeep that Tom always took care of.
