Help Tommy Get a Reliable Car

Hi , my name is Tommy. I am an husband and a father to 4 wonderful kids and I am trying to raise money for a car. I fell off a roof and broke my back 3 years ago while helping a friend put on a roof. I suffered a spinal burst fracture. I spent 3 months in the hospital and then 6 months later I was rushed back with a life threatening infection in my back. This time I spent awhile at the hospital, underwent another surgery and eventually I was sent home with a port to deliver IV antibiotics around the clock as well as a drain port. This continued for nearly a year. The infection never did clear up and many times I felt as though I would die I was so sick. and in October of last year I had to have all of the metal in my back removed to rid the infection once and for all, which put me back to square one of my healing journey. Throughout this time my lovely wife has kept us afloat and currently works 3 jobs to support us. Our van which has been good to us and kept us going has finally broke down. The repairs are costly and with nearly 359,000 miles we aren’t sure it would be worth putting thousands into it. But either way we don’t have the funds and without a vehicle, my wife is unable to work, or get our kids back and forth to school. This is devastating for us and I feel so helpless in this situation. But I know through God all things are possible, So we are reaching out to our brothers and sisters in Christ to help us get back on our feet.
