Unfortunately, just two weeks after the purchase, the van's transmission broke down, causing significant disruptions. The band had to dig into their own pockets to rent a replacement van, which led to delays and additional travel to pick up an old van and return the rental.

This unexpected breakdown not only made them late for a gig on May 9, 2025, but also placed a heavy financial burden on Tom, who now faces the cost of replacing the transmission. The van is essential for supporting the band's touring schedule, and without it, their ability to perform and schedule shows is severely impacted.
