Help Tom and Sherri Rebuild After Fire

My name is Brittney Dick, oldest daughter to Tom and Sherri Schenk. On Sunday, January 26th, my parents house caught fire. My mom was home alone as my dad was out of town. My mom woke up to a popping noise and smoke. She called 911 and was lucky a Firefighter lived close and was first on the scene to get her out.

My mom definitely had her Guardian Angels and God watching over her. She was trapped in the bedroom and came out with severe smoke inhalation and some scrapes from climbing out of the window. We are sad that my parents dog, Ellie, did not make it, the Firefighters did everything they could but she had to much smoke inhalation. We are very heartbroken.

There is a lot of Fire and Water damage but it was just stuff. My parents did lose a lot if not all of their personal belongings.

To everyone who has reached out checking on my mom and our family, as well as, letting you know if we need anything. I sincerely cannot THANK YOU enough. We aren’t ones to ask for help, but if you would like to help with helping my parents replace their personal belongings, it definitely would be appreciated.
