Help Tom & Cynthia Emrich with Infant Adoption

We have been trying to grow our family since we were first married in March of 2014.  We are both teachers in the same small public school and both have a deep love of children.  It has been a complicated long journey as well as a painful one to get to this point.  During this time, we had gone through a great deal of doctor’s visits, surgeries and several rounds of fertility treatments.  Learning that the chances of us having children biologically were extremely low and seemingly impossible was one of the most difficult seasons of our lives.  It is said that whenever God closes one door he opens another!  Throughout this entire difficult time, we have had amazing emotional support and a plan for what is next.  God has definitely done this for us.  After a great deal of thought, prayer and consultation with others who have adopted children and have been adopted themselves, we decided that adoption was the path we would take to grow our family. 
               So, our journey began.  We started the adoption process and are currently working through our home study.  Once we are approved as prospective adoptive parents, our profile will begin being shown to birth parents.  We will be chosen by a birth parent and will begin the process of the contract which includes attorney fees, agency expenses, birth mother expenses and the cost to travel to pick up the precious bundle of joy.  This can all add up quickly, so we have started this fund to help with the expenses and are asking you to consider making a gift to help us bring home our first baby.  When we started the adoption process we realized that we had an amazing network of people around us, who also want to help us bring the newest member of our family home.  Thank you so much for giving us hope and supporting our family.  You mean so much to us.  God bless you all!
