Help Toby Stay Purr-fectly Healthy

Hi everyone,

I’m Colette, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life.

My baby Toby who’s been my rock for the past five years, was recently diagnosed with a stage 4 heart murmur. He needs dental work, but before the vets can proceed, they need to perform a full workup: blood tests and detailed scans of his heart to ensure it’s safe for him to undergo treatment.

I was given an estimate cost for everything Toby needs—including his heart scans, blood tests, dental surgery, and follow-up care, is $3,000.

Toby isn’t just my pet—he’s my family and my reason to keep going. We recently survived domestic violence, and I had to make the difficult decision to leave everything behind, including my job, to move across BC and stay safe while going through court proceedings. It’s been an uphill battle, but Toby has been my constant source of love, comfort, and strength through it all.

I hate to ask for help, especially when times are tough for so many, but I wouldn’t be here without Toby. He’s the sweetest, most cuddly, and kind-hearted cat you could ever meet. He’s been by my side through the darkest times, and now it’s my turn to fight for him.
