Help to support the Swift family

Donation protected
Hi all, we have decided to set up this page to help take some of the financial strain away from Zoe and her family whilst Mark is poorly in hospital and recovering from a bleed on his brain.

During the early hours on Monday 3rd January, Zoe and the girls world was turned upside down. Mark collapsed with a significant bleed on his brain.

During the course of the last two weeks, Mark has been in Southmead's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under heavy sedation and on a ventilator. He has undergone three operations. One to insert a brain pressure monitor. The second to remove the clots and a third to insert a drain to remove some of the fluid which has been increasing the pressures within his skull. Whilst the operations were deemed "successful", due to the depth and size of the bleed that Mark has suffered, we do not know the implications that this will have on Mark both physically and mentally until he has been woken up from the sedation. This is going to be a long process which is very uncertain and with no guarantees.

As you can imagine, this is an extremely stressful time for Zoe . The last thing we would want for her is to go through more difficult times worrying about bills whilst Mark is unable to work and with her trying to negotiate numerous hospital trips and keeping life as normal as possible for the girls.

We understand that times are tough at the moment, especially just after Christmas, but any donation will be very greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
