Help to recoup funds stolen for Williams Garden
Unfortunately Craig Ashington and his family were recently conned out of over £4,000 in deposits they'd provided for materials to have their garden renovated and made safe and accessible for their son William.
William is a double amputee, having lost both of his legs at the knee and has recently started his journey back to having the independence of being able to walk again, no longer needing a wheelchair as he can now walk on prosthetic legs. However, this means the garden is currently unsafe and unsuitable for him to use.
Sadly, the family trusted someone to do the job, but after taking over £4,000 in material deposits, he left the family high and dry with no materials, the majority of the money and a garden that hadn't been touched. Fortunately, we have been able to organise getting the garden done for them at no extra cost, but if we can recoup any of the funds lost, it would be a huge support for the family and for William.
