Help To Get The Wrecker Operational!

The Museum has a 1953, International Harvester manufacturered M62, 5 ton, medium wrecker. We are in need of an operational crane. This truck is more than enough to suit our needs. We have made much progress on the truck, getting the engine running and the truck driving and stopping, this required a fuel pump rebuild, carburetor upgrade, oil change, master cylinder rebuild and brake work. The truck drives and stops. We have done alot of sanding and priming and the truck now has a full first coat of urathane paint. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that the hydraulic hoses are un serviceable. Not just one, but all of them. Our estimates are coming in at around $7000.00 for just the hoses. The crane unit requires 62 gallons of oil at apx $30.00 per gallon. We are a small, non profit, privately owned Museum that relies solely on our attendance and toy/souvenir sales for funding and some studio rentals of small items such as uniforms, helmets and other small items. We are asking for a bit less because we do not want to take advantage of the GoFundme process.
