Help to Fund our IVF
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amy and for the past 6 and half years me and my partner Dan have been trying for a baby.
We have unfortunately not been successful.
I was diagnosed with stage four endometriosis and adenomyosis which also causing me much pain as it's growing each month I have a cycle. It's got to the point that I'll need surgery again, but if I do they'll want to remove my organs I need to conceive so it's not an option right now. Since being under the fertility clinic for over a year now the doctor has seen how much it's grown back which is very scary considering I only had surgery back in September 2022.
We've now had two failed rounds of IVF resulting in no pregnancy which had been funded by the NHS.
We are so thankful we had the opportunity of this, However we would love to have another shot at IVF to start a family of our own.
But going forward we have no more rounds on the NHS, it's all private from now on.
After our recent consultation with the doctor she has suggested we do another round but don't want to wait too long due to my endomestrosis. Also it's suggested we do ISCI as our fertilisation rate was a lot higher but this is more money than standard IVF.
We had our treatment plan put together this week and now have been quoted and it's looking at costing us over £16,000. It's money we don't have to hand.
With the added cost of bills going up and the cost of living it's just not an easy option at the moment.
Any help, in anyway to get us near our goal of possibly having a child to love and complete us then we would be eternally grateful. Even if you can't donate even just sharing this would really help.
All I've ever wanted is to be a mum and this has been the hardest 6 and half years of my life. It's drained the life out of me and the fact the money is causing another strain is heartbreaking. I have never thought it would get to this, that I would have to set up a go fund me page but sadly it has.
If anyone could help we would really appreciate it #IVFWARRIOR
