Aid for Rebuilding "TO" Family from “Hopeless vs Hope"

This is TO's Family. I am Kwok Ho Kenneth To. We are a family of five and have been new immigrants to the US in recent years. After months of immigrating, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. So my sister-in-law offered us to stay with her family together generously without costing us. In the meantime, they can provide us with extra care. By synchronizing our limited resources, we can utilize them effectively. Unfortunately, my family faced another devastating news. Our lovely house/home had been burnt to ash in the LA Eaton Wildfire on 1/8/2025 (Wed). Due to the urgency and sudden fire, we evacuated from the house within 20 minutes. We couldn't do much, except secure our lives. We lost everything.

Now, due to taking care of my young daughters and my current health condition, my wife and I found it difficult to have a stable job. We seem hopeless but we seek your generosity and help.

Although the community and federal government can support our urgent needs in a very, very short term, we still have a high urgency to prepare for our next step of family rebuilding. Most importantly, your funding will support our intermediate and long-term medical expenses from the wildfire tragedy. So, we crave to look forward to having your fund support. Even a penny or a word of prayer helps to lead us through the world's darkness. We believe loving care fills us.

這是杜宅。我是杜國豪。我們一家五口都是近年來的新移民到美國。移民數月後，我被診斷出罹患第三期結腸癌。 於是我嫂子慷慨地邀請我們和她家一起住，而且不花任何錢收取任何費用。 同時，他們也可以為我們提供額外的照顧。 透過協同效應，可盡量使用我們有限的資源。 不幸的是，我們的家又面臨另一個毀滅性的消息。我們溫暖的房子/家在 2025 年 1 月 8 日（星期三）的洛杉磯Eaton山火中被燒成灰燼。由於情況緊急，火勢突然，我們在20分鐘內就撤離了房子。除了保障我們的生命安全，我們做不了什麼，我們失去了一切。

現在，由於照顧年幼的女兒和我目前的健康狀況，我和我的妻子很難找到一份穩定的工作。我們似乎毫無希望，只能尋求您的慷慨和幫助。
