Help to Aid David's Healing and Family Stability

Hello everyone, my name is Jadene and I have made this account on behalf of David, myself along with our four children Jaden (12), Tiana (11), Jesse (4) and Gabby (2 months). David is very known to be kindhearted, funny, selfless, a social butterfly, hard working, very friendly and an overall great guy with the best smile. He was on his journey to become a wireman. In January, Dave was diagnosed with the flu. He has not gotten any better so we went back into the hospital to where he was then diagnosed with pneumonia and group strep A in his blood. Minutes later, he went into sepsis with organ failure. He was in a 3 week coma that resulted in a severe de conditioned and inability to use his arms and legs. He has been in and out of the ICU at Providence and the rehab center St. Elias. We almost lost David 7 times - 2 codes, 2 bleed outs, organ failing, severe fluid loss & shock. He was doing great in May and was hoping to go home until he was hit with a salmonella infection that gave him a major setback. From then, he has been trying to recover from the setback but has not been able to get back to where he was. He was then sent to Seattle to get further evaluated in hopes that he will make the transplant list. After a 4 week evaluation & a couple denials - he finally got the yes to be on the liver transplant list. He got his liver offer on Sept 8 and had his surgery the next day. He has been doing good with all things considered and we’re hoping to come back home to he can recover closer to his family ❤️ Our little family has been going through so much, all while in the middle of David’s hardship - he missed his two older children’s elementary ceremony, their first day in middle school, our third child’s first day of preK, the birth of our fourth child, HS graduations, my nursing school graduation, sport games, etc. David has been very hopeful and in good spirits knowing that God will pull through for him. This fund will help with our mortgages, our bills, car payments, medical bills that are still stacking, and it’ll help us tremendously as David has not been working since 2023 and I have also not been working but currently on FMLA and will not being going back to work until David gets to a point where he is stabled. We’re not sure when he will be able to get back on his feet but it’s the process that matters & he has been so ready for it. This is just an obstacle for us that we will get through together.
