Dear friends and family,

I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your help for my husband, Tito Rod, who suffered a stroke two weeks ago. He is currently in NYU Hospital receiving rehabilitation, as his right arm and right leg remain weak. We are grateful that he has made progress, but his recovery will take time, patience, and continued medical care.

Right now, I am not working so I can take care of him full-time — attending appointments, helping him move, assisting with daily tasks, and managing household responsibilities. Tito Rod is also unable to work and is applying for sick leave/short-term disability, but it will not be enough to cover our medical and living expenses during this difficult period.

We are doing our best with what we have, but the financial pressure has become overwhelming. I don’t like posting on social media, so I’m only sharing this with people we personally know and trust.

If you are able, any amount will help us with:

• Transportation to appointments

• Basic household expenses while neither of us can work
