Tish and Jerry have been through so much together. Jerry is blind, and Tish is his full-time carer. Despite their challenges, they’ve shown incredible strength — staying six months sober and rebuilding their lives one step at a time.

Recently, thanks to an outpouring of kindness, we were able to raise over $22,000 USD (around $35,000 AUD) for them. With that, we bought them a car, a travel trailer, and placed them in an Airbnb for a month while we worked to get them back on their feet.

But there’s still more to do.

They need help with the final touches to make this new beginning truly sustainable — including:

• Installing a tow bar on the car (over $4,500 USD)

• Covering groceries and essentials while they settle into their new home
