Help Tina's Mom Fix Her Home's Sewer Crisis

Hi, my name is Tina and I am asking for help for my mom Pat. She is 70 years old and in dire need of help. She lives alone with her two dogs and three cats in Newton Illinois.

The home she is currently living in has no sewer, water, central air, or heat. The person she is buying her house from dug up her sewer and said the line was collapsed, causing the water and sewer to be shut off. This has caused multiple issues in her home. I am currently working on getting someone to come and fix this issue, but my mom does not have the money needed for these repairs and I don’t want her and her animals to lose their home of 12 years. This money would go to repair the sewer line, replace the hot water heater, and fix the furnace, all of which were damaged from the basement flooding.

We cleared the basement of more than 5 feet of water this week, but everything that was down there is now ruined. On top of the sewer line issue, we will need to replace her water heater, furnace, and a significant amount of plumbing. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.
