Hi everyone, my name is Tina, and I’m reaching out for support during one of the hardest seasons of my life. This year has brought loss, unexpected challenges, and financial hardships that I’ve been doing my best to push through — but I’ve reached a point where I need help to get back on my feet.

In June, my sister’s husband passed away from kidney failure. That same month, my biological mother was diagnosed with brain cancer. I also finally got a car — something I truly needed — but just five days later, a tree fell on it and totaled it due to my apartment’s neglect. On top of all that, I was unexpectedly contacted by my biological father’s side of the family for the first time.

Without a car, getting to work became impossible. I tried Ubering, but the cost was too much to keep up with. I had to fly to Texas to be with my biological mother, who sadly passed away in November. The only bright spot in all of this was getting to meet my biological dad’s side of the family for the very first time.

I’m working hard to keep moving forward. I’m a softball coach and scout, and I’ve been applying to job after job. But without reliable transportation, food security, and help with basic bills, it’s been incredibly tough to regain my footing.

I’m raising funds to cover:

• Food and rent

• A reliable car

• Basic living expenses while securing stable employment
