My name is Falencia Johnson, and I am Tina Burke’s daughter. For my 25th birthday this year, all I wanted was to take my mom on vacation. We had such a beautiful trip. We prayed, laughed, danced, and got even closer. Unfortunately, on March 3rd, 2025, my mom was snatched from me at the airport. I didn’t know she was being detained until a week later. Since then, I have been doing everything in my power to bring her home and support my little sister. The last few months have been agony. I have been losing myself. I look to my mom for everything, and so does my little sister. My mom is the pillar of resilience, a sweetheart to everyone she meets, and we just need her home. We both feel so lost, and it kills me to see her so sad. I really am doing the best I can, but I am struggling. Covering everything is getting tight, and I just need to keep afloat while we navigate this. The money raised will go towards lawyer fees, mom’s car payment, utility bills, supporting my little sister here and my family back in Jamaica.
