Hello my name is Heather Robison. The wife of an amazing husband and father, Tim Robison. Tim is a father of four incredible children — ages 6, 8, 11, and 12. They are his whole world. He has always supported them emotionally and been an involved and present father! Tim is financially, contributing over $25,000 a year in child support and other expenses to ensure they have everything they need.

Tim is also a disabled Army veteran, still fighting through the long process of securing the correct disability benefits he should rightfully receive. Even while battling health challenges due to the service, he has never stopped showing up for his kids.

On top of a very difficult custody battle, he is now dealing with an overwhelming medical-related case involving his two youngest children. It stems from an incident where their insulin vials were accidentally mixed up — a devastating honest mistake, not an act of neglect or intentional harm what so ever. Anyone who knows him knows how much he loves and protects his children. We are working to prove that this was an honest mistake during a chaotic moment, not medical negligence in any way shape or form.

Meanwhile, their mother continues to make decisions that disrupt the children’s stability. To start she “took them on vacation” & never brought them back. She moved them over 900 miles away, without the legally required 60 day notice, leaving Tim blindsided and heart broken and unable to maintain regular parenting time. Despite documented violations, there has been no accountability or contempt enforcement.

He has reached out to Prairie State Legal Services, begging for help as a disabled veteran trying to protect his children — but we have received no response. With no legal support, he has been representing himself (pro se), but the legal system is extremely complex and unforgiving when you’re fighting alone.

We are deeply concerned about the emotional environment the children are in. The younger ones are being influenced in troubling ways, and the older kids are not being allowed to express their thoughts or feelings freely. No child should ever feel pressured, silenced, or afraid to speak up. Their feelings matter and children have rights!

Above all, we simply want what the children want — and what is genuinely in their best interest. They deserve stability, safety, and the chance to have their father fully involved in their lives. Tim is not trying to take anything away from their mother; he only wants the kids to maintain the loving bond they already have with him.

He urgently need a skilled family law attorney to help protect his children’s best interests, ensure their voices are heard, and give him a fair chance in court.
