Tim is nearly 65 years old and has lived in his home his entire life. Over the years, he cared for his father, brother, and mother in that same house, always putting his family first. After his mother passed away, the house was purchased by his sister, Karen, who promised Tim he could stay as long as he needed. Tim continued to maintain the home and pay the taxes out of his own pocket, making sure everything was taken care of.
Sadly, after Karen passed, her daughter—Tim’s niece—became the new owner and has now filed an eviction notice against Tim. He has just 30 days to come up with the money to buy the house or he will be forced to leave. The amount being asked is far more than the home is worth, and Tim simply doesn’t have the funds or the credit to secure a loan. To make matters even more difficult, Tim suffered a stroke a few years ago and is now disabled, relying on his brother and friends for help with even basic tasks like packing.
Tim has always been the first to help others in need, and now he’s the one who needs a helping hand. He has very little savings and can’t find a rental he can afford on his limited income. Applying for low-income housing takes time, and his court-ordered move-out date is May 6th, 2026. We are appealing the eviction, but there’s no guarantee it will be granted. Please help Tim stay in the home he loves and has cared for his entire life. Any support you can give would mean the world to him and all of us who care about him.
