Help Tim on his Healing Journey!

Hello friends and family of Tim near and far!

As you have likely heard by now, in early August, Tim learned that the cause of some abdominal bloating and discomfort was in fact cancer in his abdomen, originating in the pancreas. He also learned that it was too far along to operate but not so far along that there are no other courses of treatment to pursue. Tim is beginning Chemo (after a slight delay from a COVID diagnosis), which should help shrink the tumor. That is super important as the tumor's size makes it hard to eat (stomach is about 1/8 its regular size), hard to sleep, and hard to do all the other important things he needs to do to heal himself!

In addition to chemo, Tim is going to regular IV therapy sessions to try and replenish the liquids he's lost. He's lost a total of 30 pounds since the end of July, and much of that was water weight. The treatments are a great help, but they start at $200 and go up from there. Tim has also closed his beloved Pilates studio for the time being though he hopes to continue working with folks once he is feeling better.

While Tim's support network, headed up by his amazing mother Lenita and his love Megan have jumped into action, working to support him on his healing journey, there is still more help needed. There is much unknown about the journey ahead but we can help remove some uncertainty by supporting our dear friend so he can get access to the treatments he needs.

No matter what you can give, every bit helps. It takes a village, as they say, and we are calling on the support of that village. Please help our beloved Tim so that he may focus all his energy on resting and healing. We have all been touched by Tim's passionate spirit in one way or another and been better for it. Let's reflect back some of the love and light he's given us and this cancer won't stand a chance!
