Help Tim and Savanna Secure Their Home
Donation protected

Tim and Savanna need our help. After years of riding trains and traveling, they found Homer, Alaska in 2012. For 12 years, they have put down strong roots; building their home out of pocket (sometimes literally with their bare hands), raising a family along with themselves, and rising above the hot mess of 2020.
They have been through so much to get to where they are today after facing crippling grief, substance misuse, recovery, and as the dust settles from the most trying times of their lives, slather on financial fraud, crashing industry; the aftermath which has put them in a real sticky financial situation that is preventing them from securing their last payments on their financing agreement for their land, their home.
We know there are so many in need
right now, we understand there are people facing housing insecurity, displacement, we know full well how it feels to be homeless. We are asking for support for Tim and Savanna so they do not have to experience that again. If you know Tim and Savanna, you know they are not afraid of hard work, you know they are not afraid of crisis, you know they want for a better world, working always toward a more forgiving, more connecting, thriving world. They have experienced losing everything and starting over again, again and again. Let's show up for them now, so they can continue to expand into a life in service to humanity.
Logistics and nuance leading to this point and the audacity to share a GoFundMe for them comes after:
exhausting possible resources and options (because our home has been built by hand, we are missing some 'financeable features' that qualify use for traditional mortgage refinancing options)
fraudulent activity on our account has severely damaged our credit scores. We have done all we can to dispute charges and discrepancies and are 'in progress' preventing us from applying for loans that may help us at this time.
Savanna has been seeking full time work while building a business. It took two years to find a job with steady income. Though successful in job procurement, Savanna’s income still not enough to make the payments needed to secure their home.
Tim and Savanna owe $27,000 on their land by December 4th, 2024. They are seeking $8,000 which will be applied to their current credit situation, per credit advisors, so they may apply for the one loan type they are eligible for to preserve their home. They need the current amount by July 30th so the entirety may be allocated in a timely fashion to the appropriate accounts.
With respect to donations, those who can share $500 or more, Tim and Savanna would like to make sure that you are paid back. You may contact them directly. Approximate repayment by, or after, January 1, 2025.
Again, Tim and Savanna are with a broad understanding that we are one of many facing financial hardship and potential ruin. Sharing this GoFundMe is a measure in surrender. Not something taken lightly and with great respect to community and the current economic and socio political climate at large. This effort only scratches the surface for Tim and Savanna. You assistance here will have a tremendous ripple affect for change as it will support them to invest in community health, care, and connection across time. Thank you so much for your consideration and witness here.

I am Savannas close and dear friend. She means the world to me, and I possibly convinced her that we should try anything so they don't lose what is so dear to her.
She is also trying to save her pets life right now, you know how everything has to happen at once, well it is. All I ask is to give them a chance because I have never met a more beautiful relationship. High-school sweethearts with a family now and only trying to save what is theirs. I am willing to help people out that want help our friends. Sending this out to the universe with good intent, thank you for reading and I hope you can share if you are able. Xoxox
