Two of my best friends lost their home in a house fire tonight, December 23, 2025. They live in Galesburg, Michigan. Tim and Sam are two of the most generous and amazing people I have ever met. Both of them have served their communities for years, and now they are in need of your help.

They lost nearly everything, including their beloved dog, Angel* (See update, she may have escaped the house and is lost in Galesburg)

They are my family by choice, and we are all heartbroken over this terrible event.  They do have insurance, but we all know that is never enough. We can never rebuild what they have lost, but we can help them rebuild something. It is particularly devastating because it is almost Christmas. 

This has been a difficult year for them both, and they can use any support they can get.
