Help Tiger Lily go from stray to saved!

What was originally a friends trip to PR turned into the most epic rescue story!

A group of us went to PR to surprise our friend for his 40th. If you know me it is no shock that the stray dogs around our rental had my attention all weekend. I know its not a bad place to be homeless with the tropical climate but when I ever saw this defeated mama dog stray trying to shade herself under a palm tree I went over and saw she was covered in ticks, fleas and was constantly itching. She has had so many babies by the condition of her body and needed medical attention desperately. She was weak and lethargic yet mustered up the energy to show her sweet smile and wag her tail when offering her love. It was that moment under that palm tree that I said there is no way I am going to leave you here mama. A friend back home who is well connected in rescue noticed I was on vacation in PR and asked me to bring a puppy back on the plane who was already adopted. After agreeing, and knowing it was a long shot, I asked if she could help me make a miracle happen and get this girl we named Tiger Lily some much needed help. She connected me with an angel who searched for her two days after I left and finally found her. She took her in for the night, gave her her first bath probably ever and took her to the clinic for much needed medical care this morning. As soon as she is medically cleared she will be flown here! I am fundraising to get Tiger Lily's medical care and transport covered to get her the life she deserves. This rescue story proves that humanity is not dead. I am blown away by how this has all come together thanks to all the selfless people involved. I'm forever grateful for the kindness that has been demonstrated. Any additional funds raised will go straight to the organizations in PR who made this happen for me!
