Tiffany McKenzie, her partner Shawn, and their children recently experienced a devastating house fire that took away everything they owned. The house, which was inherited from Tiffany's grandma, is a total loss. In a matter of moments, their lives were turned upside down, and they are now facing the difficult task of rebuilding from scratch. Tiffany is my niece, and seeing her family go through this tragedy has been heartbreaking for all of us. At the time of the fire, Tiffany was also helping a coworker and his big sister who had nowhere else to go, so they were living with her family. The family also has 2 dogs and 5 cats, all of whom are part of their loving home. They escaped with only the clothes they were wearing, losing all of their appliances, furniture, beds, dressers, and dishes—everything was lost in the fire.
Each member of the family lost something deeply personal. Christopher, Tiffany’s oldest boy, is 18 and blind. He is a huge music fan and lost all of his musical instruments. His twin brother, Noah, lost all of his ceramic making equipment and the items he had created. Brylen, who is 17 and a big sports fan, lost his Rams and Golden State Warriors memorabilia, basketball shoes, and his cherished cowboy attire, including buckles, hats, and boots. Cadance, the oldest girl at 12, is a wrestler—strong on the outside but incredibly kind and caring. The youngest, Alaya, is 6, outgoing, and loves Legos and Barbies. All of their gaming equipment was also lost, which is especially hard for any child these days. Tiffany and Shawn are kind people who are always there to help anyone in need, and they were also supporting a coworker and his sister during this difficult time.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping Tiffany, Shawn, and the kids replace essential items lost in the fire, from appliances and furniture to clothing, school supplies, and the special things that brought them joy and comfort. Your support will also help them care for their pets and continue to support the coworker and his sister who were staying with them. Every dollar will make a real difference as they work to restore a sense of normalcy. Your kindness and generosity mean so much, and together we can help them move forward and rebuild their lives. I would like to thank everyone in advance for any help they can give to Tiffany McKenzie and her family. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to support Tiffany and her loved ones.
