After over 16 years working in human services supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I am stepping out on faith to launch Hill-N-Heart Professional Training Services LLC.
Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand how important it is for caregivers and staff to be properly trained to support the individuals they serve. Quality training can save lives in emergencies and also improve the everyday care people receive.
Hill-N-Heart Professional Training Services,LLC will provide essential workforce training including:
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
• Documentation and professional note writing training for staff
• Training focused on compliance and quality care in human services
• Practical training that helps staff better support individuals in their care
Proper training not only prepares people for emergencies but also helps ensure that individuals receiving services are treated with dignity, safety, and respect.
My long-term vision also includes launching Hill-N-Heart Day Support Services, a program designed to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to build life skills, participate in their communities, and continue growing toward independence.
Right now, my immediate goal is to get the training program up and running so I can begin offering classes in the community.
The biggest challenge at the moment is purchasing the training equipment needed to teach classes properly. This includes CPR mannequins, AED training devices, and other classroom materials.
Funds raised will help cover:
• CPR mannequins and AED training equipment
• Training materials and classroom supplies
• Documentation training curriculum and materials
• Portable equipment needed to host community training classes
• Startup costs to begin offering classes
My goal is to raise $7,500 to help launch Hill-N-Heart Professional Training Services so I can begin providing training in the community as soon as possible.
Helping people has always been my passion, and I believe that well-trained caregivers create stronger and safer communities.
