Help Tibetan Youth Attend SFT Midwest Conference 2025

Hello everyone, we are the Chicago chapter of Students for a Free Tibet (SFT), a group of passionate individuals dedicated to advocating for a free Tibet. Last year, thanks to your generous support, we had the privilege of attending SFT’s Midwest Conference, where Tibetan youth from across the region united to build skills in grassroots mobilization, campaign strategy, and public speaking. The experience was incredibly impactful, equipping us with tools to elevate Tibet’s cause on the international stage and inspiring us to continue our advocacy efforts.

This year, we are thrilled to announce our participation in SFT’s second annual Midwest Conference, taking place at the University of Minnesota from February 1 to 2, 2025. This two-day event will feature workshops on grassroots organizing, strategic nonviolence, media and messaging, and more, providing an invaluable opportunity for Tibetan youth to grow as advocates for the Tibetan Freedom Movement.

To make this opportunity a reality once again, we are seeking your generous support. The cost of attending the conference, including travel and accommodation, is approximately $100 per person. Any additional funds raised will go directly towards supporting the SFT Chicago chapter, enabling us to continue organizing events and advocating for Tibet’s freedom in our local community.
