Hi! I'm Tracey. I am doing this because my best friend Courtney is hardheaded and so stubborn… She is going to need prayers and financial help over the next few weeks or months…

On Friday, August 23rd, 2024, she experienced what every parent dreams never to happen to their child. Kyleigh (7 years old), her daughter, developed a terrible fever that could not be broken. Kyleigh was taken to Children's & Women's in Mobile. After being there 5 days and doctors could not figure out what was technically wrong, they came up with a diagnosis of Acute Liver Failure. There is not a pediatric liver doctor in Mobile, so she needed to be transferred to a different hospital so Kyleigh could be properly diagnosed and treated. They have determined it has to do with her liver and the functioning of it what they call HLH.

She is now at Ochsner's in New Orleans and they have informed Courtney she will be there for a while to get comfortable. So I guess I am here to ask for help… Courtney is a single mom of two with one income, and hospital bills are about to pile up. She already basically lives paycheck to paycheck, and being out of work for a week already is starting to put some stress on her. Anything helps!!
