My name is Thomas, and I never imagined I’d find myself in this position. Not long ago, I was diagnosed with lung cancer. After completing a court-ordered program, I was left without a place to stay—my apartment was lost when the judge sentenced me to the program, and now I have nowhere to go. It’s been an incredibly tough journey, and I’ve been facing a lot of these challenges on my own.

Right now, I’m preparing to start chemotherapy treatments, which begin this Wednesday. The funds I raise here will go directly toward helping me secure safe housing and covering the costs of traveling back and forth to the hospital for my weekly treatments. Transportation has always been an issue, and having a stable place to stay would make a world of difference as I focus on my health and recovery.

Asking for help is not easy for me—I’m usually the one lending a hand to others. But right now, I need support more than ever.
