My name is Cathy Bell Mart. I am Heather Wania- Butt’s mom. Heather’s husband, my loving son-in-law, Thomas Butts has always worked hard to support his children, and wife. He would get up at 3:00 a.m. for work and then not arrive back home till 7:00 or later in the evening. Those are his normal summer hours driving truck for Pechkam Materials. It’s a tiring schedule but he loves it. If a friend or a neighbor needs help with anything at all, he’s right there for them. He truly enjoys spending time with the family at Cityview Church and helping out.

I love to do gardening. I had back problems last summer when I was unable to walk up the stairs and Thomas carried me up 2 flights of stairs.

A few weeks ago Thomas started having trouble with his memory. He became easily agitated, and was not functioning well in general. He was disoriented and we became very concerned. Thomas ended up in the ER and was admitted to the hospital. He has swelling on his brain. He was diagnosed with Encephalopathy, Hypertensive crisis, Hyperlipidemia, Coronary artery disease and Essential hypertension. He is lucky to be alive. The medical staff at the hospital said he was ready to have a stroke.

Any donations or help with paying monthly living expenses and providing for the children’s needs would give Thomas and Heather peace of mind and relieve stress. We appreciate everyones kindness and generosity.
