I am Thomas Bouch, a loving husband and father. My wife and daughter have always supported me in all my endeavors. We've had many good times and some rough times, but I have always managed to pull us through the rough times.
I worked as a commercial truck driving instructor and enjoyed helping students get a well-paying career. Sometimes their stories would bring a tear to your eye. It gave me a good feeling when they graduated and they were always very appreciative.
Unfortunately, I am now no longer able to pursue that career of almost ten years. In the last three or four months, I have been losing muscle to where I was having trouble walking and climbing in the truck. So, I have been out of work for several weeks.
A few years ago, I noticed a lump forming on my leg and my left testicle was swelling (sorry for the graphic description). I went to my doctor and was referred to a urologist. I got an ultrasound, as instructed, and went for the appointment. He was unsure of the problem so he sent me for a CT scan. I went back to the urologist, still no diagnosis. I changed doctors and he said the lumps (nothing about the other problem) were insect bites? I was born at night, but not last night. I switched doctors again and she referred me to an oncologist. Great guy. On the first appointment, he said, "You have a hernia and I also suspect Lymphoma."
Understand, I don't have the greatest insurance and a lot of this is out of pocket. I had the hernia operation and recently found out I have Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Which means I will be getting chemotherapy. When all this started I was 236 lbs. I am now down to 192 lbs.
My family is my main concern. We will be shortly running out of funds. If something should happen to me, they would lose everything.
