Staying out of harm's way

My friend has been in an abusive marriage for 18 years.  She has tried to end their relationship a few times in the past couple of years but he always uses money to force her back with him.  Even so, she had the strength to kick him out last month after his last infidelity, he won't help financially with anything since he thinks, he knows that the fear of her children being homeless will cause her to humiliatingly so, ask him to return. 
She is a strong woman who has doubted herself for years because of him, I know that her rent being due today is stressing her beyond belief, but she is keeping a positive outlook regardless, trusting that God will make a way.   All abuse is not physical, although there has been that too, and after all these years you'd think she would just resign to living in a damaging marriage but she has never lost hope that one day she could raise her children in a happy, healthy environment.  She spent years praying for a change in his heart, that he'd finally see what he does isn't right, but instead God has opened her eyes to his abuse and the toxic environment her kids have been living in, so she is determined to finally end it.  She is resolved in her decision to end this toxic marriage and create a new life for her children, and I know she won't let money make her feel forced to stay with him any longer. But I  wanted to make this gofundme for her because Im hoping that we could show her there is compassion and true caring for others since she's lived so many years seeing the opposite from her husband. And hopefully she will be able to keep her home, which she wants desperately to do to make things easier on her children who are already going through their parents separation.  
I didn't want to put her name or picture because of the situation, but I assure you any help would really change the course of this family's lives for the better, and make a difficult situation a little easier for this family by being able to keep their home.
