My dad, Bob Marshall is a remarkable man in many ways! He loves his country and served in the U.S. Navy for five years,including several tours in Vietnam. He married his wife,Mary in 1968 and together they have raised five kids and have 8 grandchildren. Bob and Mary also have custody of their 8 year old granddaughter.

Earlier this year my dad was diagnosed with an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Despite taking supplements and undergoing 6 months of chemotherapy and treatment,his levels are continuing to rise and the situation is dire. My father has tirelessly worked six days a week all his life and he is now 80 years old and unable to work full time due to his treatment and illness.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to try and pay the remainder of Bob's mortgage in the hopes of him,his wife of 55 years,and granddaughter will be able to continue to live in the home my parents have shared for 44 years.
