Help this loving family care for Carter

This fundraising effort is for Sarah Thornber and her family. She is in urgent need of 24/7 care for her 17-year-old son Carter. Carter has recently undergone brain surgery. This surgical procedure was  performed to help reduce the relentless seizures he suffers from. For over 10 years, Carter has experienced multiple seizures day and night. His family is struggling with the challenges of meeting his needs on their own, while trying to maintain a busy family life. Sarah is a teacher in Victoria BC and will need care for Carter, especially once she returns to her job. Currently, Sarah is still in Vancouver at Children's Hospital while Carter recovers from complications post surgery. Care for Carter is required immediately when he returns home. Unfortunately, no assistance or long term care plan has been provided or offered by BC health care.
