Hello my name is Sheila Tang Cleland and growing up mixed-race in Ballyclare for over 45 years now, this story really got me tonight.

This local family's business was damaged due to the absolutely vile attack on a man in Belfast. That matter, of course, definitely needs dealt with, but this family didn't need this, nor did it achieve anything.

His wife Joanne says: "Umit Guler and I have been married for almost 30 years. We have raised two children. He built a business. Paid taxes. Sponsors a local football team. Speaks Turkish with a Northern Ireland accent. Likes a pint in his local. He calls this home. We are proud of our wee country and the contribution we make. Tonight some concerned citizens decided to smash the windows in his shop in Ballyclare. Whoever you are, I hate you. I hate that you made him feel the way he feels right now."

Please, people of Ballyclare, let's make this right again for this man and his family.
