Moore River Brewing. Help Them Over the Line

Approved deferment on some high-cost items and a generous sponsorship arrangement have meant that the target has been significantly reduced.

Many in the district and in Perth have been awaiting the opening of the micro-brewery and restaurant undertaken by Cindy and Neil King on their property at 558 Caraban Road, Caraban.

The brewery is located on the bank of the Moore River with extensive views of the river.

As you are aware there have been extended delays to the start, continuation and completion of the project. ALL of the delays are attributable to the builder involved in the project. After taking significant progress payments from Neil and Cindy the Directors put their company into liquidation and left Australia for around eight months. There were other victims of this company, predominantly homeowners, but Neil and Cindy are the ones who have suffered a HUGE setback and the most substantial loss, with the building insurance refusing to respond to their claim. Every dollar being held to cover contingencies has gone into the continuation of construction, an amount which would buy a sizeable family home,

In addition, both Cindy and Neil have taken employment over the last few years to kick in extra funds and have almost reached the line to get the project open.

As you can imagine, the stress on them has been extreme.

We need to help them to cross the line and get the facilities open as soon as possible. Any further delay is going to affect factors which will keep the project from completion for a significant amount of time.
