My name is Tewa, and I’m reaching out because my brother, James Young, and his family are in a situation none of us ever expected.

James has been working in Kuwait to provide for his family, but due to the escalating conflict there, he has now lost his job and the environment has become increasingly dangerous and unstable. His company has only offered to cover his relocation—not the relocation of his wife and children—leaving them facing this crisis largely on their own.

As his sister, it’s incredibly difficult knowing my brother is trying to protect and provide for his family while being so far away from home and facing circumstances he can’t control.

Right now, they are urgently trying to return to the United States, but the cost of flights for his family, temporary housing once they arrive, and basic necessities are overwhelming. On top of that, companies are price gouging just to ship their personal belongings, making it nearly impossible for them to bring the pieces of their life home with them.

Our family is simply asking for help to bring them somewhere safe.
