On January 7, 2025, the Eaton fire tragically destroyed everything my parents have worked for, leaving behind nothing but rubble and ash. We were able to escape with only a few essentials—everything else was lost.

Many of you may know my family from our involvement in the local community. We’ve always been active, hosting gatherings, organizing family music events, and contributing to the vibrant spirit of the area. My mom, Lily, has taught piano and GuZheng to many students over the years, bringing music and joy into countless lives.

You might also know me, Michael Wu, and my brother, Steven, from our time in South Pasadena. We started the badminton team, organized Chinese New Year events, volunteered at SPHS Bingo, and did much more to serve our community.

But now, the fire has taken everything from us. Not a single hint of our cherished memories here in the community remains. Our home and livelihood in LA are gone, and we need your support to rebuild.

Please keep our family—Simon, Lily, Steven, and all those affected— in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this devastating loss.

All funds raised will go directly to the Wu family to help us recover and start over in Pasadena, rebuilding our lives and continuing our commitment to the community we love.
