Dear Family and Friends,

As some of you know, Mandi and I have been seeking to grow our family for the past few years. We’ve been through a lot physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. There has been sadness, anger, and the questioning of God’s faithfulness and will. Mandi went through several fertility treatments which disrupted her physical and emotional wellbeing. There was a lot of hope and expectation that was never met during those years of treatments. It was extremely hard to watch her experience this and go through it all together. The struggle has been challenging but has ultimately brought us closer in our marriage.

After struggling with infertility for a few years, we started to question if this was God’s plan for us. Through the encouragement of our family and close friends, we have been able to get through this time with hope and faith that God does have a great plan for us! We’ve prayed and listened to God to try and understand what he has in store for us.

Long story short, we’ve started the adoption process and are on track to be approved for placement by mid-October! Matching with a birth mom and placement could take a while or it could happen quickly, as we will also be open to an infant surrendered through “safe delivery.” There are still many unknowns and concerns about what is to come, but we are very excited about our future!
