Help the Wilsons as Alvin Recovers from a Tragic Accident
Donation protected
Let me introduce you to the Wilson family, a family that’s being led by parents with hearts to serve.
Alvin is a Maryland State Trooper. Heather is the Director of Children’s Ministry at New Day Church. Both are active in the Cumberland, Maryland community! They have two beautiful, little girls that are Alvin’s world.
While Alvin was conducting traffic enforcement April 28th, he attempted to flag down a speeding car clocked going 78 mph. The car continued to speed towards Alvin, but Alvin couldn’t get out of the way of the speeding car fast enough. Alvin was hit, thrown into the air 25 ft and landed on his back. His injuries include a gash to the back of his head, broken pelvis, fractured sternum, shattered tibia and fibula, along with a snapped humerus and shoulder socket. Alvin will undergo three surgeries for now with even more in his future, along with several plates, rods, and screws needed to piece him back together.
Alvin has been the primary financial support for their family, and now he faces multiple surgeries and hospital stays in his future, as well as a long road of healing and recovery.
Could you please find it in your hearts to give to this family? As broken as Alvin’s body is, not to mention the extreme pain he is in, his main concern since the accident is how he is going to continue to provide for his family. Can you help ease that concern?
Any amount that you can give will be greatly appreciated! Thank you for lifting this special family in prayer and giving what you are called to give!
