My name is Emily and I am raising funds for the Whitt family, who have become my second family.

On Friday, March 13, the Whitt family’s lives were turned upside down when a devastating fire destroyed their home. In a matter of moments, Nick and Sarah Whitt, along with their children Abby, Nick, and Lexi, lost nearly everything they owned.

A home is more than just walls and a roof — it’s where memories are made, where families gather, and where life happens. Tragically, the Whitt family watched as the place filled with their memories, belongings, and sense of security was taken from them. Clothing, furniture, personal items, keepsakes, an extensive sports memorabilia collection, and the everyday necessities most of us rely on are all gone.

While the loss is unimaginable, there is one thing they are incredibly grateful for: everyone made it out safely. In the middle of such devastation, that is a blessing they are holding onto.

Now the Whitt family is faced with the overwhelming task of starting over. From replacing basic necessities like clothes, toiletries, and household items to securing temporary housing and rebuilding what was lost, the road ahead will be long and challenging.

We are asking our community, friends, family, and anyone who is able to help to come together and support them during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will go directly toward helping the Whitt family meet immediate needs and begin the process of rebuilding their lives.
