Help the Wetmore family

Hi, my name is Veronica. I’m setting up this fundraiser for Josh & Jennifer Wetmore (Toroian).

At a little under 2 years old, and during the cold season, no one expects a child’s appendix to burst!

After multiple doctors and many hospitals, too much vomiting and an energetic child going lethargic and blue… someone finally listened and he was rushed to the children’s hospital by ambulance for emergency surgery.

Because the majority of the professionals believed that it was just the flu, both parents juggled life’s demands while they waited for their toddler to heal. They missed job opportunities and struggled with the care of their daughter with special needs causing them to rely heavily on family. This has caused tremendous hardship for the whole family in so many ways along with some unresolved feelings of not being heard by medical professionals.

After 2 weeks stay in the children’s hospital, the family is reunited at home but the healing process is just beginning and bills have just begun. There is no public assistance other than what we are asking of friends and family.

Please help with any amount you can as this family struggles to put the pieces together again.
