Hi everyone,

I’m organizing this fundraiser for my sibling LJ and their husband, Wyatt, their joyful 16-month-old son Ziggy, and the two babies they’re now preparing to welcome into the world!

Earlier this year, LJ and Wyatt decided it was time to grow their family and give Ziggy a sibling, but life had an even bigger plan. They found out they were expecting TWINS! A complete surprise and an incredible blessing that instantly doubled their joy and their to-do list. They’ve been navigating the excitement and the overwhelm with so much grace, even on the days when it feels like life is moving faster than they can catch their breath.

As you can imagine, preparing for two newborns while caring for a toddler has become a full-time emotional and financial juggling act. With family pitching in for childcare, they’re doing everything they can to balance work, home, and the fast-approaching arrival of the twins.

Wanting more space and stability for their growing family, LJ and Wyatt made the big decision to buy their first home in Wisconsin, rather than keep paying rising rent. It was a dream come true, but with a new mortgage, some unexpected home repairs, and two babies on the way, the costs of getting everything ready have added up quickly.

On top of preparing for twins and settling into their new home, Wyatt’s job future is currently uncertain due to an upcoming company restructuring, which may require re-interviewing for his position and could potentially impact their income during the babies’ arrival. The uncertainty has been a lot to navigate, especially as they look ahead to caring for three little ones so close in age.

With all of this happening at once, they’re doing everything they can to stay grounded and provide stability for their growing family. They’re not people who ask for help easily, but this season has stretched them in ways no one could have prepared for.
