Help the War Victims

Hi, my name is Alison,
On the 7th of September, I will be 60 years old.
Rather than have a huge party which is really not me, or receive gifts that I really don't need, I have decided to celebrate by doing a sponsored Tandem Skydive to raise funds for Ukraine.
War is a merciless force that strips away the very fabric of security that we often take for granted. It transforms thriving communities into landscapes of uncertainty and fear. Once bustling streets and neighborhoods, where laughter and joy once reigned, become silent and desolate as families are torn apart and forced to flee their homes in search of safety. The sense of security that is essential for a fulfilling and meaningful life is shattered, replaced by a constant state of apprehension and vulnerability.
Perhaps the most heart-wrenching aspect of war is the toll it takes on loved ones. Families, friends, and communities are torn apart as those that are held dearest are snatched away by the ravages of conflict. The devastating consequences of conflict go far beyond the battlefield, leaving a trail of destruction that touches every aspect of human existence.
In times of conflict, we are reminded of the fragile nature of our existence and the importance of cherishing the security and relationships we hold dear. The tragic reality is that war takes everything that is precious from a human being - it steals away not only physical security, but also the emotional bonds and connections that give our lives meaning. It rips fathers from their families, sons from their mothers, husbands from their wives. They are asked by their country to bear arms, to protect it and to protect their loved ones.
When men go to war, not only are they risking their lives, but also they are leaving behind their role as primary breadwinners. Families are also deprived of the emotional and financial support necessary to provide proper medical attention.
But now we can help. We can unite together and raise money to provide the basics that every human being needs, food and medical attention. Every euro helps, so let's try and raise everything that we can.
Also, you get to see me jump =)
Thank you
